Chad Ragland was clutch at the plate with ducks on the pond on Friday, driving in four on two hits to lead FSCJ past St Petersburg College 6-2 on Friday.
Ragland drove in runs on a home run in the second and a sacrifice fly in the fourth. The BlueWave opened up scoring in the first inning, when Austin Morton singled on a 0-1 count, scoring one run. Then FSCJ scored three runs in the second inning and then an RBI home run by Ragland.
Tyler Naumann earned the win for the BlueWave going six innings, allowing two runs on seven hits, striking out two and walking one. Dalton Terrell threw one inning in relief out of the bullpen. Terrell recorded the last three outs to earn the save for FSCJ.
FSCJ BlueWave Baseball launched one home run on the day when Ragland had a long ball in the second inning. Ragland went 2-for-3 at the plate to lead FSCJ BlueWave Baseball in hits. St Pete had seven hits in the game.
