BlueWave Baseball aids Habitat for Humanity of Jacksonville

The Florida State College at Jacksonville BlueWave Baseball program volunteered their time recently with Habitat of Humanity of Jacksonville.

Last year the FSCJ baseball team managed to volunteer over 40 hours towards a Habitat for Humanity project that aided in building over 106 homes in the Jacksonville area. The BlueWave are again aiding in the same project as they volunteered this past Friday and Saturday. The  FSCJ baseball team headed out to Mayport Rd and continued to work on building homes for the local community.

The BlueWave Baseball team will be back out assisting Habitat for Humanity of Jacksonville in a continuing effort through the months of November to January.

Habitat for Humanity is a nonprofit housing organization working locally and in nearly 1,400 communities across the United States and in approximately 70 countries around the world. Habitat's vision is of a world where everyone has a decent place to live. Habitat works toward this vision by building and improving homes in partnership with individuals and families in need of a decent and affordable place to live.
